Chatári is a relaxing TV series for the whole family that does not underestimate the audience's intellect. It is full of witty dialogues and comical, slightly absurd situations. It is filmed according to a successful Czech model called Osada, written by successful Czech screenwriter Petr Koleček. Its sun-drenched, holiday-like atmosphere is regularly shaken up by conflicts, which are the source of situational verbal humour.
